Job Description

The  Warehouse Reciever is responsible for managing the receiving process of goods and materials in the warehouse. This position involves inspecting, verifying, and documenting shipments, ensuring the accuracy of orders and the condition of products received. The Warehouse Receiver plays a key role in inventory control, organization, and maintaining accurate records of all incoming deliveries. Additionally, the role ensures that all items are properly stored and ready for distribution or use.

Essential Functions:

• Monitors incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.
• Fulfill daily Food and Beverage requisition as established by the schedule.
• Monitor inventory levels.
• Deliver received shipments to proper departments/locations as needed.
• Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets.
• Complete and submit all required reports and paperwork.
• Collaborate with purchasing and other managers to optimize processes.
• Providing a positive people-oriented work environment, designed to build morale.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to pass a forklift certification.
• Follow all safety policies.
• Follow-up with vendors with any receiving discrepancies.

• Associates may have to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Must be able to lift, carry and move boxes and items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:

• Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
• Proactive individual who takes ownership to resolve problems and issues.
• Excellent organizational skills to maintain timely updates and inventory accuracy. 
• Excellent follow-up skills to achieve on time shipments.
• Warehousing/logistics experience a plus.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office software including Excel.
