The Supply and Inventory Specialist is located in the Logistics Section of the North Carolina State Bureau of investigation (SBI) and is responsible for the management of the law enforcement equipment room, SBI expendable supplies room, mail distribution center and shipping/receiving dock. This position provides support for inventory management and warehousing activities, communicates with carriers, suppliers, and customers to resolve issues and ensures smooth operations, and implements process improvements to enhance logistics operations. This position assists with SBI inventory, surplus, and the receipt and delivery of supplies across the agency; therefore, strong skills in logistical planning and organization is desired.
