Support Engineer - Citrix, VMware, VDI technologies

Fort Mill, SC

Full Time

Engage with end users to gather requirements and ensure configurations meet business needs and client standards. Provide engineering expertise for both physical and virtual desktop environments.
Develop and maintain system documentation, standards, and operational procedures. Create and manage corporate images, deployment strategies, and monitoring tools. Package, test, and deploy system and application updates and patches.
Administer and support physical and virtual infrastructure, including VDI. Evaluate and test new hardware and software for enterprise readiness.
Provide Tier 3 escalation support, including MFA and endpoint security issues. Plan and implement upgrades and rollouts using enterprise management tools.
Define and drive the vision for the EUC environment, incorporating emerging technologies. Support and manage enterprise print services. Lead technical projects and ensure timely, within-budget delivery.
Research and recommend tools and technologies to support business initiatives. Automate routine tasks to improve operational efficiency. Adhere to Change and Problem Management processes.
Mentor junior team members and provide training on tools and systems. Provide on-call support, including nights and weekends, and travel as required. Deliver high-touch customer service and effective problem resolution.
