Day-to-Day Role:

• Skillfully operate the press brake to shape sheet metal or plates, following all safety protocols with protective gear.
• Read job plans or blueprints to set, adjust, and prepare the press brake to deliver desired cuts/forms.
• Handle routine and minor troubleshooting, along with preventative maintenance.
• Use tools to assemble standard and custom product components, transitioning items between different stages.
• Adjust equipment and tools for precision, in line with job requirements.
• Document production tasks and quality checks, ensuring product specifications are met using gauges.
• Maintain exceptional quality standards, always seeking ways to enhance current practices.

What We Need:

Basic Necessities: An accredited high school diploma or GED is mandatory.

• At least one year of hands-on experience with press brake machines
• Qualification to work in the U.S. without needing future employer sponsorship
• Relocation isn't provided, so applicants should live within a 50-mile distance. Military service members are not restricted by this location requirement.

Desired Extras: A year or more in metal fabrication or relevant industries

• Experience with machines like Press Brakes, Lasers, or CNC equipment
• Basic computing and mathematical capabilities

Job Essentials: Strong interpersonal communication

• Aptitude for deciphering blueprints, drawings, and schematics

• Ability to reposition materials (push/pull 50 lbs) as required

• Physical capability to carry up to 50 lbs

• Collaborative spirit to execute tasks in line with client needs

• Keen to learn through training sessions

• Keep the workspace orderly and tidy

• Adaptable to take on varied roles as needed
