Everyware is seeking a Senior Software Developer for a hybrid role that combines hands-on development with client-facing technical engagement. This role is ideal for someone who excels at coding, troubleshooting complex issues, and translating technical solutions to meet customer needs.

Job Summary

This role requires a blend of robust technical proficiency in AWS, .NET (C# and Visual Basic) and MSSQL server and Javascript combined with exceptional communication skills to effectively support a rapidly growing organization. This exciting position collaborates closely with sales, product, development, and customer success teams. As a senior software developer, leveraging your technical expertise with our software to troubleshoot complex issues, validate API connectivity, and ensure seamless platform adoption is crucial. Additionally, you will partner directly with customers to gather requirements, showcase product features and capabilities, and address any obstacles to ensure successful deployments. At Everyware, we seek more than just an employee; we aim to find a strategic partner who will serve as a trusted advisor, helping to drive scalability and growth across our target markets.

What You’ll Do

  • Troubleshoot and maintain cloud-based payment systems using tools such as GitHub, Postman, and AWS services.

  • Write, optimize, and manage SQL queries and work extensively with MS SQL Server for reporting and operational support.

  • Conduct API integration testing using Postman, ensuring platform and customer connectivity.

  • Work within our core tech stack including .NET (C#/VB), JavaScript, and AWS infrastructure.

  • Develop and enhance internal tools and merchant portals using Blazor Framework and Razor Syntax.

  • Maintain and improve codebase quality, performance, and reliability in production environments.

  • Collaborate with the IT team to generate Clickup tickets, debug system issues, and resolve merchant-side technical concerns.

  • Deliver technical product demonstrations to prospective customers, tailoring solutions to their needs and use cases.

  • Support presales initiatives: assist with proposals, solution designs, product positioning, and technical clarifications.

  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and trusted technical advisor to clients and internal teams.

  • Collect and share customer feedback to shape product enhancements and influence roadmap priorities.

  • Stay informed about emerging technologies, competitive offerings, and industry trends affecting your clients.

Qualifications

  • 5–6+ years of software development experience in a professional setting.

  • Proficient in .NET (C# and VB), JavaScript, SQL, and working within AWS environments.

  • Hands-on experience with Postman for API testing and verification.

  • Strong command of MS SQL Server for data operations and troubleshooting.

  • Familiarity with Blazor or Razor syntax (required for portal development), React and Node.js.

  • Experience using git for code versioning and issue tracking.

  • Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills across the full tech stack.

  • Monitoring and observability experience with Datadog or similar tools.

  • Prior experience in FinTech and Payments industries.

  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills – capable of translating tech speak into business value for both technical and non-technical audiences.

This is a remote/telecommute role with the possibility of evolving into a hybrid role in the future.
