Job Title: Sales and Marketing Rep – Laboratory Solutions
Location: Chesterfield, VA
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales and Marketing Representative to join our team supporting laboratory products and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background with at least 2 years of experience and a passion for promoting scientific solutions to healthcare, research, or industrial laboratories. This role involves building relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and executing marketing strategies to drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients in the laboratory industry.
• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through targeted prospecting and networking.
• Present and demonstrate laboratory products and services to clients, highlighting their features and benefits.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional campaigns and materials tailored to laboratory markets.
• Track and report on sales metrics, market trends, and competitor activity.
• Provide excellent customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to expand the company’s market presence.
• Work closely with internal teams including product development and customer support to address client needs and feedback.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of proven sales experience, preferably in scientific, laboratory, or technical product sales.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to understand complex laboratory products and technical concepts.
• Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach.
• Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field preferred but not required.
