In this role, you’ll work closely with clients to create personalized designs for their homes, from the initial concept to project completion. You’ll collaborate with our experienced team to produce detailed floor plans and 3D renderings and manage project designs, all while maintaining the highest standards of quality. Responsibilities: Client Engagement Design Creation: • Participate in client meetings to gather design goals and vision. • Produce as-built drawings and floor plans using Chief Architect. • Create imaginative, practical design solutions and 3D renderings of proposed designs. • Develop working drawings, including electrical, mechanical, and window/door schedules. Collaboration Project Management: • Coordinate with the Owners, Lead Designer, and production team to refine designs and ensure feasibility. • Assist in managing client timelines and design deliverables to keep projects on track. • Maintain accurate project documentation, including specifications, selection sheets, and permit paperwork. Technical Administrative Support: • Research and specify materials in alignment with approved selections. • Keep up-to-date with construction codes and trends to ensure all designs meet industry standards. • Participate in weekly design meetings and assist with showroom updates, product research, and marketing efforts. Special Projects Marketing: • Occasionally assist with marketing tasks, including social media posts and photos of completed projects. • Engage with industry trends and participate in design award submissions. Qualifications: What We’re Looking For: • 3-5 years of residential design experience. • Proficiency in  Chief Architect or similar design software. • A creative problem solver with a strong understanding of construction and remodeling. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with clients and team members.
