What you’ll do… As a Recruiter at the Texas A&M Foundation, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our organization by identifying and attracting exceptional individuals who are inspired by purpose and driven to make a difference. You will lead the charge in discovering top-tier talent—particularly for our dynamic fundraising team—while ensuring every candidate experiences a thoughtful, engaging, and mission-aligned journey from first contact to onboarding. With a strategic mindset and a passion for people, you will cultivate strong partnerships with leaders across the Foundation to deeply understand their goals, challenges, and team dynamics. Your ability to anticipate future talent needs and build a robust pipeline of mission-aligned professionals will be key to our continued success.

What We Require…

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of candidate sourcing and recruiting experience in a corporate environment.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of and experience using recruiting techniques to identify talent based on organizational and departmental needs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to accurately interpret both verbal and nonverbal cues from candidates, hiring managers, and stakeholders.
  • Basic understanding of employment laws, with solid understanding of legal/illegal pre-employment inquiries and behavioral interviewing techniques.
  • Commitment to the mission and vision of Texas A&M Foundation.

We’d love to find someone with…

  • Experience in or knowledge of higher education fundraising.
  • Recruiting or HR certifications (i.e. PHR, PRC, CIR, CDR)
  • General HR knowledge and experience.
  • Results-oriented, quality-driven, and team focused.
