A week in the life of an analyst at Fifth Dimension

It's Monday morning. You kick off the week by leveraging your real estate expertise to map out a client's existing lease review process, identifying where our system can add immediate value. By Tuesday, you're collaborating with our tech team to design the perfect workflow, providing critical input on what data matters most in commercial property documents. Wednesday, you're testing the implementation, applying your sector knowledge to ensure accuracy before shipping to our customer. You'll witness how your industry expertise transforms a manual process that took days into an automated workflow that delivers structured data in seconds. Thursday brings an excited email from a fellow real estate portfolio manager: "This is exactly what we needed. I can now identify upcoming lease events and unusual terms across our entire portfolio without reading through thousands of pages." Then you're on a call with another customer, providing your real estate insights on a solution to analyse an acquisition target's entire document repository, revealing insights that inform a multi-million dollar investment decision. You address the feedback right away, getting them the next version out Friday, before the end of the week.

What you’ll do

Reporting to our CPO and Founder Johnny Morris, you'll be spending your time bridging the gap between our LLM powered technology and our enterprise customers' unique needs, working directly with customers to understand their workflows, designing and implementing custom solutions using our genAI platform.

Day to day, you will…

• Engage with customers to understand their real estate workflows, gather feedback, and identify GenAI automation opportunities
• Apply your real estate expertise to identify and prioritise opportunities to add the most value to our customers
• Collaborate with our tech team to design and implement AI solutions using our system, including:
  • Data extraction from complex property leases and documents
  • Workflow automation for a variety of intensive processes, like drafting IC memos or auditing supplier contracts
  • Tone of voice modeling for diverse client content needs
• Test and analyse our AI tools through a real estate lens to measure improvements and provide actionable feedback to engineers
• Support customers post-sale, leading aspects of onboarding and collaborating to improve their system setup
• Share your deep expertise in real estate processes and transactions with the team to improve our product

What we're looking for

About you

You have solid experience in real estate, particularly in acquisitions, portfolio management, or asset management, with a proven track record of working on significant transactions. You're naturally curious, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

You've got real-world experience in a major real estate firm, and you understand the pain points in document-intensive workflows. Details don't slip past you; you're comfortable analyzing lengthy documents to extract critical insights. As someone who picks up new skills quickly, you're energised by the opportunity to learn cutting-edge AI technology. Your entrepreneurial spirit shines through in everything you do, and you have a knack for building trusted relationships with clients.

Don't worry about technical skills - we'll teach you everything you need to know about AI and technology. Your real estate expertise is what matters most.

You'll have:

• 3-5+ years of experience in commercial real estate, ideally at an investment manager, asset manager, or commercial property firm
• Experience with large transactions and the documentation that accompanies them
• Proven track record of taking ownership of deliverables—and actually delivering them
• Ability to translate complex real estate concepts to different audiences
• High attention to detail and large capacity to analyse DOCUMENTS, we're talking thousands of pages of real estate contracts
• Grit and determination, you run at problems, not away from them. You're explicitly up for long hours, tight deadlines, and moments of heroism
• Curiosity about technology and willingness to learn AI concepts

If you can also tick off any of the below bonus points (don't worry if it's some or none though!)

• Experience with real estate software or proptech solutions
• Interest in or exposure to AI and machine learning
• Start-up or scale-up experience—you know what it means to wear multiple hats
• International real estate experience or language skills (other than English)
