Job Description

Our client, a well-known entertainment company, is looking for a Post Production Coordinator to join their team for a 7 month contract in Burbank, CA. This position requires working onsite 4 days a week. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of entertainment experience and an interest and knowledge of post-production. 

Responsibilities:

 

• Support the Postproduction Executive on Unscripted projects with professionalism and discretion.
• Manage calendars, emails, travel plans, expense reports, and vendor meetings.
• Take meeting notes and prepare reports, grids, and Airtable dashboards for Hulu and Disney leadership; update contacts and distribution lists.
• Create and maintain accurate post-production documents and distribute them securely.
• Organize and track post-production materials for current and past shows with the Production team.
• Share post-production updates with internal teams and ensure alignment across departments.
• Communicate with external partners like studios, production companies, and vendors.
• Keep the team informed about industry events, important post dates, and studio/vendor meetings.
• Support project development and production, track deliverables, and follow up as needed.

Required Qualifications:

 

• Interest and knowledge of post-production
• Minimum 1+ years of entertainment experience (agency, production, vendor, studio, network, streamer); TV or film experience preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in TV & Film, Journalism, Communications, or related subject, or equivalent experience
• Strong proficiency in MS Office, Airtable, and G-suite products
• Exceptional organizational and follow-through skills, keeping manager informed on completed tasks and the status of current projects
• Strong assistant skills a must (phones, calendar, contacts); ability to resolve routine issues and raise complex issues to management
