Order Picker/Packer
Location: Oklahoma City, OK 73179
Pay Rate: $15.00/hr
Shift: 1st Shift – 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM (mandatory overtime possible)
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

Job Summary:

Join our dynamic team as an Order Picker/Packer at a local distribution center. This position is perfect for dependable, hardworking individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment. As an Order Picker/Packer , you will play a key role in accurately packaging merchandise for shipment, ensuring all items meet company quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pack merchandise into boxes or containers for shipment to retail locations.
  • Verify item numbers, quantities, and packing labels for accuracy.
  • Inspect merchandise for damage or quality issues.
  • Use RF scanners or other tracking systems when applicable.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Meet established productivity and accuracy goals.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily department goals.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year experience (3 years preferred).
  • Physical Ability: Lift up to 50 lbs, squat, sit, stand, walk, and reach daily as needed.
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to thrive in a high-speed setting.
  • Team Player: Work effectively in both team and independent settings.
  • Basic PC Knowledge: Basic computer skills are required.
  • Versatility: Perform various job functions within the warehouse department.
  • Adherence to Protocol: Follow procedures, best practices, and report unsafe or unprofessional behavior.
  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
