Salary: 138,000 - 162,000 USD per year Requirements:

• Title: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Architect
• Location: Chicago, IL
• 15+ years of Oracle Technology project implementation and/or production support experience.
• 5+ years of Cloud Infrastructure implementation and/or support experience (preferably OCI).
• System Integrator Consulting Experience.
• Knowledgeable in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure service components.
• Experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Administration required.
• Experience in implementing and supporting OCI-based instances and services (e.g., Compute, Network, Storage, Dockers, DBCS, ExaCS, ADW, ATP, etc.).
• Experience in building and maintaining scalable and auto-scaled environments using automation and configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Ability to work on multiple challenging projects in parallel.
• Experience with Continuous Integration and technology is advantageous.
• Hold current Oracle Cloud Architect Professional Level Certification.
• Holds current Multi-Cloud Architect Associate level certification.

• Drive projects and programs to required outcomes.
• Design and implement a Hub and spoke cloud strategy, optimizing resource allocation and minimizing downtime during migration.
• Create, build, and validate cloud solutions to address real-world challenges.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Understand the architecture of Oracle/Non-Oracle workloads on Oracle Cloud.
• Design, deploy, and support OCI infrastructure and applications using CI/CD.
• Implement end-to-end migration to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Manage and support Oracle/Non-Oracle workloads on Oracle IaaS/PaaS.
• Implement automated solutions and data protection measures.
• Study existing technology landscape and understand current application workloads.
• Understand and document technical requirements from clients.
• Design the overall Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) environment, including server instances, storage instances, subnets, availability zones, etc.
• Design the cloud network architecture, including VPN connectivity between regions and subnets.
• Design HA/DR strategies and set up processes, services, and tools around the cloud.
• Oversee the build of the environment and execute the migration plan.
• Leverage appropriate Oracle Cloud services and validate the environment to meet all security and compliance controls.
• Maintain knowledge of OCI security components like OCI WAF, Network Firewall, Vault, etc.
• Support go-to-market activities as a Sales Cloud Architect.
• Experience in multi-cloud (GCP, Azure) is beneficial.

This position offers an annual salary ranging from $138,000 to $162,000, depending on experience and qualifications. It also includes eligibility for a discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards based on performance, along with excellent benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid holidays and PTO, 401(k), long-term/short-term disability, paid parental leave, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
