Description *Email and message Valerie Nielsen on LinkedIn for immediate response* Network/System Administrator Location: Onsite - Carson, CA Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 base (some flexibility depending on experience) Experience: 5+ years in IT (networking and systems) We're looking for an experienced Network/System Administrator to join our team onsite in Carson. This hybrid role is approximately 70% networking / 30% systems, ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on IT environment and enjoys both infrastructure and systems support. Key Responsibilities: + Manage, monitor, and maintain network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls) + Administer and support systems such as Office 365, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP + Maintain and troubleshoot virtualization environments (Hyper-V) and backups (Veeam) + Provide escalated technical support and proactively resolve issues + Ensure network and system reliability, performance, and security Requirements Must-Have Qualifications: + 5+ years of professional experience in IT, covering both networking and systems + Strong hands-on experience with switches, routers, and firewalls + Proficient in Office 365, Active Directory, Veeam, Hyper-V, DNS, and DHCP + Excellent troubleshooting skills across networking and systems layers + Self-motivated, organized, and effective in a fast-paced onsite environment Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
