Marketing Intern (Paid) - Regional Sports Network

This role will give you valuable exposure to marketing activations, strategy development, and cross-department collaboration. What You'll Do

Assist in planning and executing marketing activations at various locations throughout the summer.
Help design and print signage for activations and promotional events.
Support scheduling and planning promotional assignments with editors.
Contribute to the execution of department-specific and company-wide projects.
Conduct research to identify marketing opportunities and audience growth strategies.
Help manage marketing materials and promotional giveaways for events.
Develop promotional and marketing plans for live broadcasts and special events.
Brainstorm creative partnership opportunities with brands and organizations.
Take on additional marketing-related tasks as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Current college or university student studying marketing, sports management, communications, or a related field.
Prior experience in sports marketing is a plus.
Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Experience with Adobe Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator) is preferred.
Ability to take feedback and apply it to your work.
Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
Ability to work productively in an office or remote environment.
Willingness to work some evenings and weekends (advanced notice will be provided).

Internship Details

Commitment: Up to 20 hours per week (minimum 12-16 hours per week).
Schedule: Includes some weeknight and weekend events.
Compensation: Paid hourly at the Chicago minimum wage rate.
Duration: Seasonal position (not benefits-eligible).
