Litigation & Trial Practice Counsel (Attorney) - Food & Beverage

Location: Washington, D.C.

Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 50 firm with a nationally recognized Food & Beverage Industry team , is seeking an experienced Counsel to join their Washington, D.C. office . This role focuses on FDA regulatory compliance and enforcement matters, specifically within the food and beverage industries.

Candidate Profile:

• JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record .
• Active Bar Admission in DC .
• Significant experience (4+ years) in Food and Drug Administration ( FDA ) regulatory compliance and enforcement , with a strong background in food industry regulations .
• Current or recent experience serving at the FDA is required .
• Background in food , beverage , cosmetic , and consumer product industries.
• Exceptional analytical, writing, and advocacy skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and regulatory agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise food industry clients on FDA regulatory compliance , including product labeling, safety, and marketing regulations.
• Represent clients in enforcement actions and regulatory matters before the FDA and other government agencies .
• Provide strategic guidance on risk management , compliance programs , and internal investigations .
• Stay ahead of regulatory developments affecting the food and beverage sector and counsel clients on emerging risks and opportunities .
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to address legal challenges at the intersection of food law, public policy, and litigation.
