Full-Time Contract Role with Potential for Permanent Employment
We are looking for a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team in a key role that involves responding to RFQ requests from government and enterprise buyers. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic group and grow with the company.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing products from a variety of established (and sometimes new) OEMs and distributors, as well as quickly responding to RFQs within 1-2 days. Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders is a key part of the role, as you will be negotiating cost savings, expanding on existing opportunities, and facilitating smooth communication between customers and suppliers.
This is a fast-paced and high-volume position with substantial earning potential. The successful candidate will be quick on their feet, responsive, and driven to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:
New Sales
Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email in a timely and professional manner
Source products and generate accurate quotes based on customer needs
Build familiarity with partner vendors and make thoughtful product recommendations
Research new products and identify new vendors when necessary
Negotiate pricing and delivery terms with vendors
Provide insights and suggestions regarding contracts and funding options
Cultivate relationships to drive repeat business
Renewals
Negotiate terms with both new and existing suppliers to optimize margins
Identify and assess new vendor partnerships for potential opportunities
Maintain strong relationships with the vendor community, emphasizing the value we bring to them
Develop long-term strategies for renewal growth
Engage in deal strategies and negotiations
Actively track and log sales activity for transparency
Sales Administration & CRM Utilization
Track activities and opportunities within the CRM system
Provide regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), both daily and weekly
Minimum Qualifications:
At least 2 years of experience in IT sales
At least 2 years of experience working with CRM systems and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Highly driven, with a strong desire to succeed
Excellent multitasking abilities, able to handle interruptions and switch between tasks efficiently
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; confident in speaking with new contacts
Comfortable working in an unscripted environment and taking initiative
Familiarity with major enterprise IT and cybersecurity brands
Desired Experience:
Experience working with well-known IT distributors (e.g., Arrow, TD Synnex, Carahsoft, Ingram Micro, ImmixGroup, EC America, DLT Solutions)
Familiarity with online quoting and pricing tools (e.g., Xvantage)
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and quoting tools like Contraqer
Existing relationships with channel account management teams at major IT and cybersecurity brands (e.g., Dell, Microsoft, Palo Alto Networks, Crowdstrike, Riverbed, F5, Tenable, Fortinet, Infoblox, Rapid7, Broadcom, VMware, Symantec, Trellix, McAfee, Proofpoint, Cisco, Forcepoint)
Familiarity with US federal IT procurement contracts (e.g., NASA SEWP, ITES, CHESS, GSA)
