🙋 Your Role: Host/Hostess

Are you a people-person who loves making guests feel right at home? Alpine Country Club is seeking a polished and professional Host/Hostess to be the friendly first impression for our dining experience. You'll welcome members and guests with warmth, manage seating flow, and ensure an exceptional start to every meal.

 

💼 What You’ll Do

• Greet all members and guests with a warm, gracious welcome.
• Seat guests efficiently while considering preferences and table rotation.
• Provide menus and inform guests of their server upon seating.
• Manage reservations and accurately quote wait times during busy periods.
• Coordinate with service staff and kitchen to maintain a smooth guest flow.
• Answer phone calls, take to-go orders, and respond to inquiries.
• Maintain a clean and organized host area and dining room.
• Monitor guest satisfaction, handle complaints courteously, and thank guests as they leave.
• Support the team by jumping in wherever needed to ensure seamless operations.

 

✅ What We’re Looking For

• 1+ year of experience in food service or hosting, preferably in fine dining.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Tech-savvy with experience using POS, reservation, and scheduling software.
• Professional demeanor with a genuine desire to exceed guest expectations.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and team-player mindset.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, split shifts, and long shifts.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs.
