Locatedon  State Route 730 in Wilmington, Ohio,  The World Equestrian Center  is currentlyseeking  Seasonal Grounds Maintenance Associates  to join ourteam.

Thiswill be a seasonal position hiring immediately until the end of October, withthe possibility of full-time employment at the end of the season.

JobSummary:

TheGrounds Maintenance position is responsible for maintaining the overallexterior appearance and grooming of the property grounds, walkways and parkingareas. This can include landscaping duties, snow maintenance and exteriorbuilding maintenance. Primary focus on guest experience and safety.

EssentialFunctions:

1.Operate vehicles and powered equipment, such as golf carts, lawn mowers, snowblowers.

2.Shovel snow from walks, driveways, or parking lots and spread salt in thoseareas.

3. Carefor established lawns by weeding, grubbing, edging around flower beds, walks,or walls.

4. Usehand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge or brushtrimmers, or axes.

5.Police grounds and common areas, remove litter daily.

6.Maintain or repair using basic tools, equipment, or structures, such asbuildings, fences, or benches, using hand or power tools.

7. Mixand spray non-restricted weed killer using hand sprayers, hand pull weeds.

8.Monitor irrigation systems for proper coverage and report issues/breakage,water consumption and to prevent waste.

9.Provide proper upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, planters or othergrounds features.

10.Water lawns, trees, plants or flowerpots or baskets using portable sprinklersystems, hoses, or watering cans.

11. Trimor pick flowers and clean flower beds.

12. Rakemulch beds and disposes of leaves / debris.

13.Repair asphalt “potholes” in drives and parking lots.

14.Supports departmental maintenance programs and executes daily, weekly andmonthly checklists.

15.Installation of Holiday décor and lighting throughout the property.

16.Maintain roof gutters and storm sewer drainage system.

17.Power washing mobile units and porches.

18.Helping with moving furniture in and out of units and assembling furniture.

1. Seeessential functions that outline the physical requirement for particular tasksthat include but are not limited to: standing for long periods of time,pushing, pulling, lifting, shoveling, reaching and grabbing

2. Heavyworkloads requiring the ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force and theability to regularly lift 55 lbs

Qualifications,Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:

1. HighSchool graduate.

2.Landscape experience.

3. Basichand – power tool experience.

4.Excellent customer service skills, basic mechanical aptitude.
