Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dry Cleaning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating dry cleaning machines, inspecting garments, and ensuring that all items are cleaned and finished to the highest standards. This role is vital in maintaining the quality and reputation of our services.
Key Responsibilities:
Garment Inspection: Examine garments for stains, damages, and special cleaning requirements before processing.
Stain Treatment: Identify and apply appropriate stain removal techniques based on fabric type and stain composition.
Machine Operation: Operate and maintain dry cleaning machines and related equipment, ensuring proper settings and adherence to safety protocols.
Quality Control: Perform quality checks on cleaned garments, ensuring they meet company standards and customer expectations.
Pressing and Finishing: Press and finish garments using appropriate equipment to restore their original appearance.
Customer Interaction: Assist customers with inquiries regarding garment care and cleaning processes, providing exceptional service.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of processed garments and any special customer requests.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Previous experience in dry cleaning or garment care preferred.
Skills: Knowledge of various fabrics and their cleaning requirements, attention to detail, and proficiency in operating dry cleaning equipment.
