Job Description

Architectural Designer - Design Your Future!

gpac, a renowned recruitment company with over 30 years of experience, has partnered with a well-established company in the captivating world of architecture. We are excited to present an amazing opportunity for talented Architectural Designers to join our client's modern design build firm, known for its hip office, casual work environment, and even being pet-friendly! With the possibility of hybrid and remote work arrangements, we embrace flexibility and value a healthy work-life balance.

As an Architectural Designer, you will have the opportunity to unleash your creative genius and contribute to groundbreaking projects. Your passion for design and a keen eye for detail will play a vital role in shaping extraordinary structures that will stand the test of time.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative architectural design solutions

- Prepare and present design proposals, including detailed drawings, 3D models, and renderings

- Conduct site visits and surveys to ensure accuracy and feasibility of design plans

- Assist in the development of construction documents and specifications

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously elevate design standards

Essential Job Functions:

- Create compelling architectural designs that marry form and function in harmony

- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and project requirements

- Utilize software tools, such as AutoCAD and Revit, to produce accurate design documentation

- Contribute to a collaborative and dynamic work environment by sharing ideas and providing constructive feedback

- Manage project timelines and meet tight deadlines with grace and composure

Skills:

- 10+ years of experience in architectural design, showcasing a diverse portfolio of successful projects

- Proficiency in software applications such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or Adobe Creative Suite

- Strong knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and architectural standards

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas and collaborate with clients and team members

- A sense of humor and the ability to appreciate a well-crafted pun (bonus points for a UX Design joke!)

At our client's company, they believe that the success and happiness of their employees should be as architecturally magnificent as the projects they create. That's why they offer an outstanding benefits package, including:

- Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage to keep you in top form

- Generous vacation and paid time-off allowance to rejuvenate and explore your passions outside of work

- Retirement savings plan with a company match to secure your future

- Professional development opportunities to fuel your continuous growth and advancement in your career

If you're ready to embark on an exciting architectural journey with a progressive company that values innovation and work-life balance, we want to hear from you! For additional information or to submit your application, please contact us at weston.parsons@gogpac.com or at 605-501-4823
